oh yeah

Someone MUST know where I can find vintage polaroid film…

Come on guys, I’ve tried Ebay, they suck.

I need film for a Polaroid J33 Land Camera, roll film 3000 speed B&W

Whoever finds some first gets a purty prize, m’kay?

eBay Ireland has some, they post worldwide too:

You said eBay was pants, so you can convert the camera to use 120 film instead, here’s how; http://www.rwhirled.com/landlist/how2-hland120.htm

Have you tried fujifilm, I think they make a type of film that fits that style camera, (300 and B&W) and though it is not polaroid I have heard nothing but good things about it, and it is cheaper…

The 40-series film from Ireland will not fit your camera.

For the J33 you need Polaroid 30-series film, i.e. Type 31, 32, 37, or 38. That will be a hard find but I will keep an eye out for you. Sooner or later just about anything will pop up if you’re patient.

Your best bet may be to routinely cruise thrift stores and garage sales. Many times people will drop off old cameras such as yours with partially used film packs still inside the camera. Whether the film stock would still work is anybody’s guess.

Your J33 is approximately 45 years old. The Type 31 film was discontinued in 1958 (!) and the Type 38 (color) was discontinued in 1969.
Types 32 and 37 may have been made well into the 1970s. however. The type 32 was a general purpose B&W film while the Type 37 was a high speed film for low light applications.

Here’s a hack to use 120 film in your J33. Its sounds a involved but its something.
